Our goal is to provide you with professional, evidence-based naturopathic support tailored to your individual needs, complementary to conventional medical care.
Understanding the following will ensure you know what to expect when working with me.
Your Commitment
1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By using the site, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old. If you are under 18 years of age, a parent or guardian must read and accept these Terms and Conditions for you.
By seeking care and booking any service with Naturopathy and Me, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. These terms apply to all services, including individual consultations, consultation packages, acute consultations and any other services provided.
You also agree to actively participate in your treatment plan and make the lifestyle and dietary changes recommended by your practitioner.
Your health outcomes depend on your consistency, commitment, and open communication with your practitioner.

2.2 Nature of Services: Naturopathy and Me provides naturopathic healthcare services that are complementary to conventional medical care. We do not provide emergency medical care or replace the need for conventional medical treatment.
2.3 Professional Status: Naturopaths in Australia are not currently registered under the National Registration and Accreditation Scheme (NRAS). All consulting naturopaths at Naturopathy hold a relevant Bachelor of Health Science (Naturopathy), maintain professional membership, retain prescribing privileges under the TGA, and hold current professional indemnity insurance.
3. Client Responsibilities and Informed Consent
It’s important that you take the time to ensure naturopathy is right for you. To provide safe and effective care, it is essential that all personal and health information you share is accurate, complete, and up to date.
3.1 Pre-Service Requirements
You agree to provide and disclose to the clinic all current medications, supplements, and health care conditions, and to notify us of any changes to your medical history, allergies, sensitivities, medications, supplements, previous treatments, or contact details as they occur.
The personal health information you provide is true and accurate to the best of your knowledge.
You agree that you are fully responsible for your decisions and actions regarding your health.
To consult with a medical professional before commencing naturopathic treatment to ensure safety in the case of your specific health concerns.
New clients must complete a comprehensive initial intake form prior to their first appointment.
Submit recent pathology results or investigations to the Simple Clinic patient portal or email them directly. Please refer to the Privacy Policy for details on how I collect and use your personally identifiable information.
You will receive an initial client intake form via email. We kindly ask that new clients complete this form 24 hours prior to their scheduled appointment.
To consult with your private health care fund or other provider to determine requirements for claiming rebates and to understand the level of rebate they may be eligible to receive.
3.2 Informed Consent
By engaging in our services, you acknowledge and agree that:
Individual responses to treatment vary, and outcomes cannot be guaranteed.
Natural medicines can interact with pharmaceutical medications; all naturopaths carry out interaction checks at the time of prescribing. If you change your dosage, add or discontinue any medications or supplements during your treatment, you must inform your practitioner so that safety checks can be repeated.
You will inform other healthcare providers and medical professionals about the naturopathic recommendations, guidance or treatments you have received and seek medical assistance for emergency conditions that require attention.
You agree that you are responsible for decisions regarding your health, and we are therefore not liable for any damages, loss, injury, or liability.
3.3 Ongoing Responsibilities
You agree to follow the professional treatment recommendations as prescribed.
Report any adverse reactions or concerns immediately.
Attend scheduled appointments or provide appropriate notice for changes.
Communicate any changes in health status, medications, or circumstances, and take responsibility for implementing lifestyle changes.
Discuss any concerns directly with your practitioner.

4. Communication & Boundaries
For non-urgent questions, please email or message during business hours:
Tuesday: 8.30 am – 5.30 pm
Wednesday: 8.30 am – 5.30 pm
Friday: 8.30 am – 5.30 pm
Every Second Saturday: 8.30 am – 12.00 pm
All messages received, including those outside these hours, will be responded to within a reasonable time frame.
Text messages and emails are not continuously monitored and should not be used for urgent concerns.
5. Consultation Conduct & Practitioner Boundaries
Queries and concerns regarding your treatment should be raised with your practitioner during the consultation.
This ensures your concerns are addressed appropriately and provides legal and financial protection for both practitioner and patient.
If consistent communication or adherence to treatment recommendations is not prioritised, your practitioner reserves the right to refer you to another practitioner who may better meet your needs.
We reserve the right to discontinue service if a client behaves inappropriately or poses a risk to themselves or others.
In the event of a referral, if reports or clinical notes are requested from your practitioner, the time required to prepare this information will be costed to the patient, with payment required before reports or clinical notes are compiled.
6. Appointment Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy
6.1 Notice Requirements
All bookings are made via Simple Clinic. Please refer to the Privacy Policy for details on how I collect and use your personally identifiable information.
Appointments can be booked through our online booking system or by contacting us directly.
We understand that life can be unpredictable. However, last-minute cancellations prevent others from accessing care. We require at least 48 hours’ notice for any appointment changes or cancellations. If less than 24 hours’ notice is given, a 50% service fee will apply.
Clients arriving late to their consultation will only receive the remaining scheduled session time unless previously organised with the practitioner. This is because another client is likely scheduled for a time soon after your appointment. The full consultation fee will be charged.
6.2 Cancellation Fees
Failure to attend an appointment without notice will result in a 100% charge of the consultation fee.
Two instances of non-attendance without notice may result in restricted access to online booking.
6.3 Payment of Fees: Cancellation and no-show fees must be paid within 48 hours of the missed appointment.
6.4 Exceptions: Emergency situations may warrant exceptions to this policy on a case-by-case basis.
7. Payment Terms
7.1 Payment Requirements
For all initial/subsequent consultations and online bookings, full payment is required at the time of booking (online) or at the time of your consultation.
Consultation Packages: Payment in full or an approved payment plan is required before treatment commences.
All service prices on my website are in Australian dollars and are not subject to GST.
7.2 Accepted Payment Methods
Credit cards, bank transfers (by arrangement), payment plans, and Afterpay (by arrangement).
7.3 Additional Costs
Your treatment plan may include nutritional supplements, herbal medicines, or practitioner-only products. These items are prescribed specifically for your needs and are not included in the consultation fee.
Payment is required before products are dispensed, as many are ordered especially for you.
Prescribed herbal medicines and supplements are additional costs.
Functional testing fees are separate and paid directly to the provider.
Products are non-refundable once ordered from the dispensary.
8. Health and Safety
8.1 Scope Limitations
Cannot diagnose medical conditions or diseases
Cannot prescribe pharmaceutical medications
Cannot provide emergency medical care
When indicated, must refer to appropriate medical professionals
8.2 Risk Acknowledgements
Natural medicines can cause interactions with pharmaceutical drugs
Individual responses vary, and temporary reactions may occur
Detoxification processes may cause temporary discomfort
Some clients may experience initial worsening before improvement.
8.3 Emergency Protocols: Emergency situations require immediate medical attention via emergency services (000) or your nearest hospital department.
9. Intellectual Property and Confidentiality
9.1 All education materials, treatment plans, and resources provided remain the intellectual property of Naturopathy and Me. Materials are licensed for personal use only and may not be shared, reproduced, or distributed without written consent.
9.2 Confidentiality: All health information is maintained in strict confidence according to our Privacy Policy and the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
10. Release of Liability, Assumption of Risk and INdemnity
Naturopathy and Me will always have the client’s best interest at heart.
10.1 Assumption of Risk: You understand and voluntarily accept this risk and release the Naturopathy and Me, and each of their respective affiliates, and each of the owners, officers, directors, employees, volunteers, franchisors, agents and independent contractors thereof (the “Releasees”), from all liability for any injury, including, without limitation, personal, bodily, or mental injury, economic loss, or any damage to you, your spouse, guests, unborn child, or relatives, resulting from your use of Naturopathy and Me, including any injury relating to the ordinary or gross negligence, actual or passive, of the Releasees or anyone acting on the Releasees’ behalf or anyone using the service or facilities, whether related to health or not. This release does not apply if your death or injury results from gross negligence on our part.
10.2 Liability Limitations:
Our liability is limited to the amount paid for services received.
We accept no liability for indirect, consequential, or special damages.
No guarantee is provided for specific health outcomes.
Clients appropriately assume responsibility for the following recommendations.
In consideration, you further agree to hold harmless, defend and indemnify the releasees from all liability, damages, defence costs, including attorneys’ fees, and any other costs incurred in connection with claims for bodily injury, wrongful death or property damage brought by you, your guests, or minors. Further, you understand and acknowledge that the Releasees do not manufacture equipment, but purchase and/or lease equipment. You understand and acknowledge that the Releasees and the Naturopathy and Me are providing services and may not be held liable for defective products.
10.3 Professional Indemnity: Naturopathy and Me maintains professional indemnity insurance as required by professional association membership.
11. Refund Policy
11.1 General Refund Conditions:
Completed consultations are non-refundable.
Consultation packages: Refunds available within 7 days if no services have been provided.
The Metabolic Balance program is non-refundable as per the terms and conditions.
Unused consultations are forfeited after expiry periods.
Payment plan defaults may result in program suspension.
Prescribed products are non-refundable once ordered.
Prescribed products from a third-party supplier are not my responsibility. Please refer to the Privacy Policy for more information. In the case of an incorrect order, broken or missing product, contact the supplier directly.
Gift cards are non-refundable.
Digital products including e-courses, eBooks, programs available and sold on this website are non-refundable due to the product’s digital, instant-access nature.
Prices are subject to change at any time.
Any discounted prices are available only for the specified sale period.
12. Dispute Resolution
In the event that any concerns or issues arise, they should be addressed directly with the practitioner in a respectful manner, refraining from public discussion.
Your complaint should be in writing and include all relevant details relating to your complaint. Naturopathy and Me will notify you of receipt of your complaint as soon as practicable after it has been received and will endeavour to assess the merits of your complaint and make every reasonable effort to resolve your complaint quickly and fairly.
Mediation is preferred before any legal action.
Formal complaints may be submitted through our professional association.
Access to the relevant state health complaints commissioner is available.
12. Force Majeure
Service interruptions due to circumstances beyond our control (natural disasters, technology failures, government restrictions) may necessitate alternative service delivery methods or temporary suspension of services.
13. Changes to Terms
13.1 Naturopathy and Me reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to amend and update these Terms and Conditions. Changes will be published on our website at www.naturopathyme.com.au
13.2 Naturopathy and Me may assign or novate its rights under this Agreement at any time without prior consent.
14. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
